Digital Campus Community at ETH Zurich

IMG_2727On November 5, 2015, ETH Zurich hosted the annual Digital Campus event and welcomed 70 university communicators to its campus. Andrew Gossen, Senior Director for Social Media Strategy at Cornell University’s Alumni Affairs & Development Office, joined the event as keynote speaker and presented a workshop on digital campaigns in the afternoon.

LinkedIn Powering MBA applications

LinkedInLinkedIn has been powering job applications for companies such as Netflix, Tripit, and other companies since 2011.

Anybody with a LinkedIn profile can quickly submit their applications to jobs at these companies with just a click of a button. That convenience is now available to applicants to Johnson’s School of Management’s MBA program at Cornell University.

A little digging revealed that Cornell is not the only university that considers LinkedIn profiles when making student admission decisions.  Continue Reading →

If you hold a university degree, chances are your alma mater didn’t have a Facebook page or Twitter account when you were enrolled. They do now.
